HISTORY OF THE RED RIDING HOOD in the year 2006 Olavi and V-V had a mutual dream of a new rock band. They already had two guitars, which they played themselves, and they obviously needed more members to form a proper band. They decided to ask their friend Eetu from their former band to be a drummer for the new band. Eetu was willing to start immediately. With drums and two guitars Olavi, V-V and Eetu played for about a year and tried to find a bassguitarist and a singer to make their band a whole combination of musicians who love rock. The band which already had a name Red Riding Hood had several candidates for the position of singer and bassguitarist but the three finders of the RRH band didn't see any of them to be fit for the positions open and they had to keep on looking. After a year's desperate searching RRH's patience finally paid them off. Through a website called muusikoiden.net RRH found a potential bassguitarist who was searching a band and Olavi, Eetu and V-V asked him to come to their rehearseals to give it a try. Antti joined the band and bassguitarists position was no longer available. Although Red Riding Hood now had its long lost bassguitarist they still had one open positions remaining. Despite of many willing candidates a proper singer was yet to be found. At the summer of 2007 some of the members had summer vacation time and V-V packed up his things and drove to country side with few of his and his brother's friends. Like all honorable finnish people, also this group had their strong drinks with them and while being drunk one of the merry persons at the country side decided to sing out loud. V-V was stunned and started to propose this singing talent to join the band. When back home actions were taken and RRH took this potential singer to watch their practice and to test if he was the guy they were looking for. Despite of all prejudgments the rest of the Red Riding Hood was also very amazed of this guy's voice. Sami sang his way to the band and Red Riding Hood had all its members together. Or at least they hoped so. Things got ugly after few months and something went wrong. Sami announced that he's going to leave the band. So now Red Riding Hood is again looking for the singer who makes the band complete.
